The Venture LensIs a process that I designed that allowed you to put a digital business through a lens to vet, assess, qualify and scale it for performance and profitability.

What the solution was

Switch Think Drinka beverage that helps your mind to work at its optimum.

Scientifically designed to help heighten your brain’s ability to think, process information and stay active by using well-balanced nutrients in the drink to help stimulate neurons in your brain for a naturally sustained performance.

It became a set due diligence tools in how to build and validate a performance and growth engine; how to pick businesses to invest in; how to identify very quickly what you could change and where they needed to transform or optimise to grow whilst you continued to generate revenue without having to sacrifice test and learning experiments all on the path to profitability.

Foundations (ƒ6) Model – Is a data visualization artifact and diagnostic tool that allows you to capture and mix quantitative and qualitative data and push it out into a visualization to get a quick snapshot of the health and strength of any digital business. Here we’re able to see is the ideal shape; the strengths, the weaknesses and the opportunity to transform (and change-make) an investment partner into being more profitable.

Minimum Viable Performance – Is a 90-day phase I developed that looks at the minimum things that we can change that have the biggest impact on the profitability returns for your business. It's a way to test and learn but also facilitate change to ensure any decisions are cash positive.

What problem did it solve?

The problem is that cashflow, revenue and profitability are at the forefront of all decision-making in business and that limits both short term and long term performance and growth.

What problem did it solve?

The problem was that many people feared being seen as incompetent and desired to feel smarter, more alert and more mentally agile, so they can achieve a higher level of mental performance at work.

What was interesting about the problem

What was interesting about this complex problem situation was that if it was approached as if it is was a process of mitigating ‘money drain’, the business performance and profitability became akin to an exercise in risk and change management.

What was interesting about this problem situation was that if it was approached as if it is a problem of providing cognitive enhancement and aiding self-improvement, then the solution became an exercise in bio-hacking.

What did I change?

  • How to use a design mindset and methodologies for accelerated performance and growth within the investment world.
  • How to facilitate fundamental step change without negatively effecting cash-flow.
  • How to use design criteria to proactively scan the market and pick which ventures to invest in.
